From AI curiosity to AI success through a guided path bridging business and tech

The Wedge

Most AI projects don't fail because of the technology. They fail because of where they started.

You've read the articles. You've sat through the demos. Maybe you've tried a tool or two. And somewhere along the way you started to wonder: where is all this supposed to actually help my business?

Here's what most AI conversations skip. The reason so many AI initiatives stall isn't the tech. It's that they begin in the wrong place. Someone gets excited about a tool, picks a use case to justify the tool, and six months later you've got a pilot nobody uses and a budget line nobody can defend.

The work doesn't start with AI. It starts with figuring out where your business is actually losing time, money, or momentum — and then asking which tool, if any, belongs in that gap.

The work doesn't start with AI. It starts with where your business is losing time, money, or momentum.

The Approach

Diagnose. Design. Deliver.

01

Diagnose.

We start by looking at your business the way I've looked at hundreds of businesses over thirty years. Sales. Marketing. Operations. Finance. Where's the friction? Where's the wasted hour? Where's the opportunity that keeps slipping through the cracks? AI is the right answer to some of those questions. It isn't the answer to all of them. The diagnostic tells us which is which.

Design.

Once we know where the gaps are, we map the path. What's the highest-ROI move you can make in the next ninety days? What has to come first so the next thing works? How do we sequence it so you see results before you take on real risk? You leave with a plan you can execute — not a deck full of buzzwords.

03

Deliver.

This is where most consultants disappear. I don't. I lead the implementation, working alongside the technical builders who do the heavy lifting, and I stay in the room until what we designed is running in your business. You don't get strategy and then a handoff to nobody. You get a quarterback through the whole game.

Who this is for

Built for the leaders running the business — not the ones running the AI department.

This isn't for enterprise teams with a Chief AI Officer and a budget to match. It's for the founder, owner, or operator of a small to mid-sized business who:

  • Has heard enough about AI to know it matters — and not enough to know where to start
  • Doesn't want to hire a full-time AI person, or isn't sure they need to yet
  • Has been burned before by tech projects that promised the moon and delivered a Tuesday
  • Wants real outcomes: more revenue, lower cost, faster work, fewer mistakes
  • Has a team running at capacity and can't spare them for another evaluation cycle that goes nowhere

If you nodded at three of those, we should probably talk.

Why me

Most AI consultants come from one side of the table. I've worked both.

For thirty years I've been on the business side and the technology side — often at the same time. I've carried a sales bag. I've led marketing teams. I've run my own software company as an entrepreneur, which means I've signed the front of paychecks and the back of them. I've worked inside IT organizations as a business analyst and project leader, on engagements large and small.

That matters for one reason. When I sit down with you, I'm not learning your business for the first time. I've lived versions of it. I can see where the leverage points are because I've stood where you're standing. And I can talk straight with the technical team building your solution because I've stood where they're standing too.

AI is the tool I use now. The diagnostic skill is what I've been sharpening my whole career.

30 years.

Sales. Marketing. IT. Entrepreneurship. All of it.

Retail | AI-Powered Reporting | Project Intelligence

From Flying Blind to Full Visibility — Delivered in 4 Weeks

Four weeks
Daily visibility
Zero manual assembly

Senior management at this retail company was making million-dollar product decisions on week-old information. The data they needed existed, but it lived everywhere at once. Dev tracking tools. Project management platforms. Budget spreadsheets. Email threads between teams. Pulling it all together into something useful took days. By the time a report landed on anyone's desk, it was already stale.

They needed daily clarity. What they had was organized confusion.

The first step was mapping every source of information in the operation, including the email conversations where the real project status actually lived. From there, an AI-powered workflow was designed to pull it all together automatically: every morning, a fresh written report and a live dashboard, built from the current state of every active project. No manual assembly. No hunting. No lag.

From kickoff to working system: four weeks.

Once management could actually see what was happening, decisions that used to drag started moving. Are we on track to deliver? When will this team be available for the next project? Is this launch date realistic? Real answers, in real time. Resources stopped sitting idle waiting on upstream work. Projects ran leaner. Costs came down.

The result: A retail organization went from reactive to proactive, with a fully automated reporting system built, tested, and running in a single month.

"Monroe played a pivotal role in establishing our operational standards and building dashboards that significantly enhanced our team's efficiency. I wholeheartedly recommend him."
